Inolex debuted new personal care ingredients at Suppliers’ Day.

LexFeel Sunlight MB, a 100% natural alternative to silicone-based dispersing agents, produces lighter, less-whitening mineral sunscreens with even, stable particle distribution at high metal-oxide loads and it works with non-coated, non-nano oxides.

LexFilm Sun Natural MB, a natural film-former compatible with both organic and inorganic UV filters, is optimized for sensory, SPF and water resistance, and offers a clear alternative to microplastic-based polymers. Both come together in Fast Flow Sun Fluid SPF 50, a 100% natural Inolex demonstration formula built on uncoated, non-nano zinc oxide. The free from silicones and parabens formula is water-resistant and designed to spread quickly with minimal white cast.

Meanwhile, AminoSensyl Ultra MB—Inolex’s COSMOS-approved, 100% natural BTAC replacement—is a cationic amino lipid system delivers luxury textures and deep moisturization across straight to coily hair, including anti-static and anti-frizz haircare formulas, without quaternary ammonium chemistry, said the company.

New for 2026 are two LexFeel Shine anti-frizz prototypes: “Shine Bright, Frizz Light Oil,” a sprayable frizz-control treatment serum; as well as “Shine Bright, Frizz Light Mask,” a post-conditioner rinse-off mask for detangling and frizz reduction. Both are free from silicones, quats and parabens, with stability confirmed and frizz-and-shine performance benchmarked, said the company.

The latest Inolex launch is LexFeel® Enhance MB. With the approval of bemotrizinol for use in the U.S. suncare market, LexFeel® Enhance MB helps formulators turn the new filter into stable, elegant, high-SPF sunscreens consumers will reach for every day. Built with bemotrizinol (BEMT) and other organic UV filters in mind, LexFeel® Enhance MB’s polymer network creates more thermodynamically stable UV filter systems. In vivo testing demonstrated the potential to achieve SPF 50 performance and showed a 25-30% increase in SPF across the evaluated UV filter systems. LexFeel® Enhance MB stabilizes BEMT and other organic UV filters more efficiently than the benchmark emollients. Just 5% is needed to solubilize and stabilize 6% of BEMT for up to 12 weeks at 4°C in sunscreen formulations, versus less than 4 weeks stability for 5% of C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Dibutyl Adipate, or Dicaprylyl Carbonate. Twice as much of the benchmark emollients are often required to match stability performance, sacrificing the sensory profile.

Aesthetics, not protection, remain consumers’ biggest complaint about sunscreen. Too many formulas feel heavy, greasy, or sticky.
